The Rob Moore Matchplay Trophy

2024 Matchplay Final was played at Dale Hill GC and it was between:

Matt Dilworth v Mark Morris

It was a true David v Goliath match. 

Mark "The Treasurer" Morris (David) who was the TLC 2023 Matchplay bridesmaid, was up against Matt "5-0" Dilworth (Goliath) who was having the season of his life, slashing his handicap down to low single figures.

Adding to Marks already formidable task was that the match was being played at Dale Hill, so had to battle it out on a big hitters course, obviously favouring Matt.

Matt was required to give 8 shots to his opponent, but even with a reasonable HC buffer Mark was unable to prevail and Matt put him to the sword, with a resounding 5&4 Win. Unfortunately No fairytale ending....... Just a fabulous match, played in true TLC spirit.
