The Rob Moore Matchplay Trophy
Sadly, in November 2019, Rob Moore, a great friend of the Society and many of its members tragically passed away.
In honour of his memory TLC Golf Society dedicated the Matchplay competition and renamed it the Rob Moore Matchplay Trophy.
2025 Matchplay Final
2025 Matchplay Final was played at Orsett GC and it was between:
Sam Bower v Martin King
It was a highly anticipated match between to big hitters.
However, from the very first hole, it was quite apparent that one of them failed to show up.
The match was literally over before it began, as Martin took an unassailable lead early doors and ended up winning in a very comfortable way 7 & 6.
